Thank Him

God has a funny way of taking care of everything all the time. And even though I know that, this moving thing can be really really hard. A new city, new jobs, no friends, no family, and gps-ing everywhere you go. All of these things are stressful if I let them be but the amazing part is God had these things worked out before we were even called to Dallas. How cool is that?

He knew who would become our Texas family. He knows our every need! We need people who are real, genuine, & authentic. We need people who aren't impressed by football, but are impressed by our character and our faith. God already knew this and brought these people into our lives. This is why I'm writing. I really want to just point out how gracious and faithful our God is!!

Let me brag on God. We have these adopted grandparents in our neighborhood who have opened their home and hearts to us. They never ask for anything, but always give to us. They give us rides on their golf cart, they feed us, they mow our lawn, collect our mail when we are out of town, they watch our house, they feed our son endless Cheetos and Popsicles, they dance with my son, they run in the sprinklers with us and they are refreshing & are so full of life.

They watched the monitor for us last night... And you might say that it's? Just watched the monitor. But to have people whom we trust come sit in our home with our child asleep is such a blessing. That's our baby ya'll!!! Because of them, we got to get a final date in before this years training camp kicks off.

I'm so encouraged to see God come through for us as always. With Alfred's job we could have to move at the drop of a hat, and it's really amazing to see God, the master of all orchestrating every detail of our lives.

So to all my friends who are in the stages of moving or transition, be just as encouraged as I am. God will never put you somewhere without the opportunity to build a community. He cares so very much for you and will work out every detail. So don't stress, fret or worry. Just do what He calls you to do, and when you follow His will, everything else will fall into place. Most of all, thank Him!!!

"Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name." Psalms 100:4

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thesselonians 5:16-18
